Below are the many projects we in Scoil Chiaráin Naofa have been proud to be involved in over our past school years and which hold for us many memories.

Digital Schools of Distinction Flag Award

Each child in our school has access to a laptop/ipad. We were proud to be recently awarded our Digital Schools Flag.

 

Burren Beo:

Áitbheo Primary is the successor to Ecobeo,  a place-based learning programme which was designed, developed and delivered by Burrenbeo Trust, to the benefit of over 1500 primary level students and their teachers in the Burren region for over a decade. The objective of Áitbheo Primary is to contribute to an increased sense of awareness, informed pride and responsibility for their local place and to encourage active stewardship.

 

Peace Proms:

 

Our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th class will be participating in the Peace Proms this year, held in Limerick.

We enjoy practicing our beautiful repertoire of songs daily. 

 
 

 

Our Annual Bake Sale

Every year our 6th Class hold a bake sale which brings together past and present pupils. It is always a most enjoyable and memorable day. 

 

 

Agri Aware:

The Agri Aware programmes is designed for primary schools are interlinked with the national school curriculum.

Something Fishy Project:

Something Fishy is an Educational Programme, aimed at Primary school pupils aged between 10-13 years, which informs and educates students on fish, water, angling, and the environment and angling.

Scratch Competition: Computer Programming Projects

All Ireland Winner: Sarah, a student from fourth class traveled to IT Tallaght, Dublin. We had a wonderful day. All of the Scratch Projects designed by the students of Third and Fourth Class are available to view.

Since then, every year, students spend time from their busy school curriculum learning the skills of Scratch and blogging.

Food Dudes

What is the Food Dudes Programme?

Food Dudes is a programme developed to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables in school and at home. The programme features the "Food Dudes" characters who gain special powers from healthy foods.
