Digital Schools Flag Award
Each child in our school has access to a laptop/ipad. We were proud to be recently awarded our Digital Schools Flag.

Peace Proms:
Our 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th class will be participating in the Peace Proms this year, held in Limerick. We enjoy practicing our beautiful repertoire of songs daily.
Our Annual Bake Sale
Every year our 6th Class hold a bake sale which brings together past and present pupils. It is always a most enjoyable and memorable day.
Animal Welfare Presentation - Caring for our Pets
The corridors of Scoil Chiarain are alive with enthusiastic, creative, and very investigative scientists.
Scratch Competition 2017: Computer Programming Projects
All Ireland Winner: Sarah, a student from fourth class in 2013, traveled to IT Tallaght, Dublin. We had a wonderful day. All of the Scratch Projects designed by the students of Third and Fourth Class are available to view.
Since then, every year, students spend time from their busy school curriculum learning the skills of Scratch and blogging.

Food Dudes
What is the Food Dudes Programme?
Food Dudes is a programme developed to encourage children to eat more fruit and vegetables in school and at home. The programme features the "Food Dudes" characters who gain special powers from healthy foods.

The TEAM HOPE Christmas Shoebox Appeal has, over the past twelve years, sent over two million Irish gift-filled shoeboxes to needy children in seventeen countries!
